My hair at the moment is bleached brown but my natural black roots are growing . It looks trashy and i want to go a burgandy colour . Will the dye sort out the two tone ?
It will be brighter on the lighter areas. On the dark area you can use deep red as the roots grow in.
Or what I would do is… do it all dark brown/black to make it match and then a week later go over it with deep red.
I have dark blondish/ light brown hair. i really want to go a shade of red, thats not too orangey or browny.. how long does henna last ?
Our colors are permanent.
I have dark brown/black hair naturally but had the (unfortunate for my hair) urge to go blonde (multiple bleaching sessions and platinum dyes) and was successful for a few months before I got bored with it. Since, my hair has been brittle, breaking and won’t hold any color very well, it keeps washing out to blonde so I’ve stopped trying to dye it (almost 3 months since my last attempt) but I hate the color. I’ve gotten back to a healthy…ish point so its not breaking off anymore so would it be safe to try this product or should I wait until I have complete regrowth? Thanks for the help!
Absolutely yes use our product, it will repair the chemical damage. The more you use ours the better it will be.
my hair is kinda a deep brown color..no one can realy say what color it is, and i want a purple-reddish color that almost looks black inside but I don’t know if thats possible.
It is possible if you use chemicals. You can use indigo and alcohol for a purplish blue color. Not recommended.
I’m a African American women with dark brown hair color almost the color of mud. All natural no chemicals in my hair, I would like a red color but not to bright. Would the Burgundy be to bright or just right? If not can you recommend a color that will work for me?
Thanks
Deep Red will show the best and look similar to Burgundy.
I have dark brown/black hair with gray sprinkled throughout. I was a deep burgundy color and but since I have two toned hair I’m not sure what I should do. I thought maybe I would try dying my hair all one color with indigo and then going back to make it burgundy. Is that possible? Or is there a better way?
You can do it all burgundy and it will highlight the grays much brighter or You can do it dark brown and then do it burgundy. Deep red is fun as well!
my hair is a dark brown/redish tip color and i wanna do red color. which 1 should i buy…deep red or burgundy??
Either or. Deep red a lot of times will look burgundy on dark hair. Some times it looks more deep cherry. Coin toss
I johe is gona work in my black hair
Mahogany will make your hair even blacker if it is black. Use a deep red instead.
I have light brown/dark ashy blonde hair and want to add a littel color to it. I am trying to decide if burgundy or deep red would be better. I dont want it to be drastically different, but enough that its noticable. Any advice?
That is totally up to you. People with darker hair tend to go with deep red, however your in the drivers seat. I would recommend looking at before and after pictures at http://hennahut.com
My hair right now is a brownish red, more brown than red. I’ve tried many times to get my hair burundy with chemical dyes and it never turns out right. Do you think since there is already red in my hair that maybe it will be more burgundy? or is there anything I can add to it to make the purplish color stand out more?
Hard to tell. Some people are just not dye-able. When you say it does not turn out right what exactly do you mean? If you do it burgundy it should turn the red burgundy for sure. here is some before and after pics: Henna Pictures
Should be a few burgundy pics.
also if you really want purple, you can do it with indigo, however you will have to use alcohol and that defeats the purpose of all natural. If you use Indigo and then alcohol or clean your hair with alcohol and then use indigo you will get purple. You do not need a lot of alcohol either. We advise against it, because it is not natural but it will work. ALWAYS DO A STRAND TEST!
Will burgundy cover up mostly gray hair?
Yes Indeed, this is why we love it so much! You can see some before and after picks. here : http://hennahut.com/henna_testimonials
and if you see the lady on the home page here : Henna For Hair she went from bleached blond to I think it was mahogany, I will find out if you want me to. I think she also does burgundy
If my hair is dark brown, will the colour can be seen or no? If it can but with a different colour, which would it be?
yes you can use burgundy on black. It will give you a slight burgundy hue depending on how dark your hair is. Some times deep red will do something similar and red will be seen much better in the sun.
It does look very nice and we have new videos coming soon that will show you exactly how it will look
