I have been using a store bought hair dye for men to remove gray hair but I am concerning about effects on the liver. Will this product work for me as an alternative? I have black hair.
Funny you should ask that. I just talked to a customer that has used chemical hair dye for 10 years. He had a blood test done 30 days ago and his liver enzymes where extremely high. He died his hair twice a month. He went 30 days with no dye and did a blood test again and to his belief the enzymes went back down. He is now using our products. So yes Joe it absolutely will work for you and the more you use it the better it will work. Save your hair and your self! Our dye conditions while it colors with chemicals.
Hi, I just bought the black dye kit and was wondering if during the dying process I rinse out the henna with shampoo and conditioner or just with water before moving on to the indigio, and then if I also use shampoo and conditioner to rinse out the indigio afterwards or if that’s just with water?
Never use conditioner until 24 hours after your final rinse. Also do not go past 36 hours. Pre step: go ahead and mix henna. Step 1. Shampoo hair twice, no conditioner using clarifying shampoo. Step 2. Apply henna and leave on one hour or 1.5 hours at most and rinse with water and dry with towel as best possible ( hair dryer is ok). Step 3. Mix Indigo and immediately apply. leave on 1 to 1.5 hours. Rinse with water. Gray hairs may turn green,blue or red, this is normal. Shampoo (and condition) 24 hours later. It will darken over night turning black with in 24-36 hours. NO leave in conditioenrs and no oil treatments.
Only use water (not bottled or distilled).

Is it absolutely necessary to wash with a clarifying shampoo? I don’t own one nor like the idea of using one, so would a non-sulfate daily herbal shampoo be fine? I’m not a fan of commercial shampoo products but I don’t want to risk having it come out bad or not working. Will it work regardless?
Clarifying just means non conditioning. herbal essence is a good one. Sulfate free can be clarifying, just as long as it it not conditioning. Conditioner will block it from working. Plus after you use our product it will be better than it was, then use a shampoo/conditioner. All of our shampoos are very conditioning and sulfate and paraben free. We will have more in stock before the end of the year.

Also, I read somewhere that hair should be a little damp when applying henna and indigo. Is this true? Or should my hair be completely dry when doing both steps?
It is a coin toss on that one. some say dry is better , some say damp, but for sure clean is best
I have a question that I couldn’t find the answer to anywhere on the internet. what would happen to dark hair if I just dyed it with Indigo? would it turn dark blue?

i have natural 4c hair. which have this dry brown look to it. even with oil and moisturizing it looks dirty brown and dry. so i was thing of coloring my hair or try to pop my natural color. is there a product i can use to pop my natural color? if not I’m willing to try the indigo , but I’m new to coloring my hair so i need A LOT of HELP……
Do not use oil treatments, do not use leave in conditioners… they all dry you out and strip the color. natural 4c does nothing for me, Indigo will make your hair very dark or black. Add a small amount of henna to make it permanent. Black comes with 2 packets.
Or you can get away with dark brown. Our dyes are the opposite of chemical hair dyes.
How many kits will i need for mid back hair lenght?
100 grams will do bra length hair.
I buzzed my hair down to very little after developing an allergy to the chemicals in hair dye. My Dermatologist did tell me I could use Henna/organic hair dye. I am completely gray (salt & pepper), and would like to dye black again. Will it take?

I normally use a demi-permanent black hair dye. Now that I am gettting more grey I am finding after 2 weeks i must do it again. How long after using chemical dye do I need to wait to use your henna product. What if i do not like the color, how long would i need to wait to use a chemical based product if need be.? I really dont want to use chemicals any more but I am way to vein to go gray.
Also can you go in the salt water ocean with henna, will it turn green.

Way to vein? What about way to dead? I would be gray before I ever used chemical hair dye. If you hear the stories I hear on a daily bases you would not touch it. Our black should work on you fine. it is our only 2 step process but you might be able to get a way with a one step process.
Get the black kit, mix 3 parts indigo and one part henna. ( it all comes with black). Shampoo your hair twice prior with no conditioner. Follow OUR directions! You can use as soon as you like and you can switch back if you want. 2 weeks in between is not a bad idea. Always do a strand test!
