I’m not getting the exact color I want from henna but I want to keep using it. I’ve been told that if I dye my hair with chemicals or bleach it after I’ve used henna, my hair could fall out. I know bleaching is unhealthy but I need it to get the right color. So is it safe to bleach after dying my hair with henna?
Bleach is never good, period, however do a small area first if you insist. Sometimes if you start with a bleached blond you might have to use the henna color twice. So lets say you had bleached blond and you did burgundy, you might need to do burgundy again to get a burgundy (first time it might come out orangy). Starting over with bleach usually is not the best idea.
I was looking to dye my hair Burgundy, I have never bought dye online and was wondering if I would need 3 or 5 packets. My hair is a bit thicker and goes about 3 inches past my bra line. I’ve bought henna hair dye before from a store, but I’ve just moved states and I need to dye my hair again! Thank you for your help!
You need to get maybe 2 packets. one packet will do bra length hair. Keep enough to do root touch ups later and do not forget your application kit.
