I have dark blonde hair and i really want to go the natural route. I was recently informed about henna hair dye doing exactly that. My question is: i’m going for an auburn color (or deep red) but i wasn’t sure which color would have the best result. I was thinking the Natural Red, but i was not sure if that was just the color type or for people who already have red hair?
Since you are starting off with a blonde color and desire to have a “deep red” then I would suggest you go with our deep red color. I am affraid if you go with just “red” that it might be a little to bright of a red and the “natural red” will give you a red/orange tint on your dark blonde hair. We always suggest to do a strand test before your all over application to determine if the color is right for you and see how long to leave the product on your hair to get your desired color. Follow this link: to see before and after pictures of actual customers that used the 3 different red colors.
I have medium brown hair naturally and am wondering whether I should go with the red or natural red henna. I am wanting closest to the natural red head color, but am not sure the natural red will work on my hair color. Do I need to use the red because my hair is darker? I looked at your before and after pictures, but the only one I could find was not a very good picture, so it is hard for me to tell which color I should pick.
Hard to tell not seeing a pciture of you, pure henna would be best, however remember that any light areas will be highlighted brighter red. So I would say pure henna or copper brown. If your hair is light copper brown will look natural as well.
my wife uses copepr top and she had medium brown to start with. once you get the color with copper brown(first top picture) make sure you just do root touch ups to keep the same color.
I used to use Hennaluscent Sunset Glo mixed with a little Bark brown. They stopped making it. I have tried 3 other brands but they only cover my gray for a few days. I used to get full coverage until the roots grew out in 2 weeks.
I’m looking for a medium auburn and have medium brown with some gray naturally.
Help! What will cover my gray longer and look like a totally natural redhead? People think it’s my natural color.

Hi, yes henna lucent has been referring a lot of people to us. Sunset glow with dark brown is almost our copper brown. I would suggest that or you can mix pure with dark brown and you will have the same effect. Make sure your hair is super clean prior to application and leave on for only one hour! That should cover your gray just fine. Once you get the color you want just do root touch ups. You can also mix red with brown and get a more red feel. Our dyes are permanent and 100% chemical free as well.
I have naturally thick strawberry blond hair and I’d love for it to be a little more red without looking fake. What would you suggest?
Pure henna. First time maybe 30 minutes. An hour if it is not natural enough. Here is some before and after pics : Henna Testimonials 4th one down.
