Your welcome. It does not. Only powder. New research is showing oil is not good on the hair and it will strip the colors. All of our hair dyes come with natural conditioners accept the pure red orange as it is the best natural conditioner you can purchase, but it is red.

Vinegar, no. Vinegar will make it more permanent. Honey, it might make it lighter, but it also can keep the henna from staying in. I would recommend cassia obovata, or Amla. They are awesome conditioners and the more you add the lighter it will be. So many people say way to many things they they do not understand the long term effect. Harvest Moon is experts in this field, and this reflects to Harvest Moon hair and Beard Dye.

Hi I wanted to know because I have been told to add honey to the Henna mix for more moisture and a little vinegar to lighten up the color of my choice. Is this true and okay to do so???

You are speaking of chemical hair dye. This is not chemical hair dye. What there box says is ” if you have tattoos it doubles the odds of an allergic reaction”. So you will be fine. I personally have 5 tattoos. One covers half my arm and I use this product all the time.
95% of the people that come to us do so after they have had bad allergic reaction to chemical hair dye.

I want to dye my hair red, but many of the chemical hair dyes say not to use if you have tattoos. Is this tattoo safe?

Also since your first question I have answered well over 100 questions. So please excuse me if I do not remember the first one. We get over a hundred emails a day and phone calls as well as message boards like this one. I try and remember everyone but it is hard to do. So do not take it personally.
Main thing is henna and the ingredients in our hair dye are all natural. So just do a strand test before using another product. And when in doubt ask us, that is why we are here!
